23 June 2022

Innovationspark Zürich / Dübendorf

We organised this day to lay the foundation for a truly renewable economy, a milestone on the way to a true circular economy that makes us completely independent of fossil fuels.

SPIN DAY is the only platform dedicated to Power-to-X that brings together all relevant players from industry, research, administration, civil society and politics. In workshops participants worked out elements of a national Power-to-X strategy and a frameworks for supportive legislation, funding and promotion.

The event was opened by Federal Environment and Energy Minister Simonetta Sommaruga and Government Councillor (Canton of Zurich) Carmen Walker Späh.

Top presentations, workshops and more than plenty of time for networking made this a unique event that you didn’t want to miss. Top presenter Stephan Klapproth guided us through the day. The event ended with an aperitif.

SPIN DAY 2022 was supported by the Federal Office of Civil Aviation (FOCA / Bundesamt für Zivilluftfahrt BAZL), Federal Office of Energy (Bundesamt für Energie BFE), Federal Department of Defense, Civil Protection and Sport DDPS (Eidgenössisches Departement für Verteidigung, Bevölkerungsschutz und Sport VBS) by the Office for Economy and Labour of the Canton of Zürich (Amt für Wirtschaft und Arbeit), Airborn Fuels Switzerland AG, Axpo Holding AG, CAPHENIA GmbH, EKZ, Hitachi Zosen INOVA, Pilatus Flugzeugwerke AG, Repower AG, Silent-Power AG, Swiss International Airlines AG, Swissmem and VARO Energy Group.
