During a side event at the Swiss Economic Forum today and under the leadership of EPFL and ETH the Coalition for Green Energy & Storage was launched. Among top representatives of EPFL and ETH and many CEOs of leading companies, SPIN was represented by Co-Managing Directors Peter Metzinger and Roger Sonderegger as well as Co-President Patrik Meli.
The coalition aims at providing sustainable solutions for the energy future of Switzerland by rapidly developing large-scale demonstrators using existing technologies with industrial support, backed with scientific assessment.
And by the development of infrastructure and use of existing knowledge for development of promising emerging technologies to be brought at scale within a few years to raise efficiency and cut costs.
